Our amazing teams Stonehaven are on the lookout for reliable, patient and caring colleagues to join them as Support Practitioners on a part-time, full-time and relief basis.
The Role
You'll become part of one of our warm, friendly, supportive teams supporting individuals with various support needs within their own shared homes. As a Support Practitioner, you'll be supporting the individuals with their day to day lives, including housework, personal care, making meals, finances and attending appointments.
There’s never a dull moment in this role, the individuals all enjoy an active and social life, including discos, music and karaoke. Some other favourite activities are arts & crafts, going for lunch, day trips; as well as local walks and trips into Aberdeen city.
About You
You don't need experience or qualifications to start your career with us; we recruit on values and transferrable skills and we'll give you all the training you'll need. We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees too!
Shift Patterns
As we're dedicated to providing the best support, tailored to the needs of each individual the shifts are varied and do include early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, public holidays and sleepovers.
Our sleepovers don't form part of your hours, you'll receive an additional payment of £96 for every sleepover shift you work!

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy. If you’re successful in joining our team, we will need you to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting your employment with us.
Please note - If you have spent more than 12 months out with the UK (excluding France, Germany. Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania or Spain) within the last 10 years while over the age of 18, you will be asked to provide a criminal record certificate from the relevant government/police authority as part of our pre-employment checks.
