Paramount UK is the home of some of TV’s biggest entertainment brands – Channel 5 & My5, Paramount+, Pluto TV, MTV, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon and BET UK. 2025 will be a transformative year for the business, with highlights including the relaunch of its flagship free-to-air offering in the UK and a likely change in company ownership.
The Senior Internal Communications Executive will keep staff engaged and informed about Paramount’s evolution, business developments and world-class content. The successful candidate will take ownership of a programme of events and initiatives crafted to further the vibrant culture within Paramount’s UK base, in collaboration with departments such as the Office of Global Inclusion and Global Real Estate. As a core member of the small and busy Corporate Communications team, the Senior Internal Comms Exec will also have the opportunity to roll up their sleeves and get stuck into the many projects and external-facing events that Paramount is renowned for.
What you will be doing?
* Ensure that Paramount staff remain abreast of business and content developments using the suite of Internal Comms channels available, including the company newsletter, intranet, Slack and building screens.
* Produce high quality written and visual content for Paramount’s internal comms channels and events, including scripts, news stories, staff emails and posters.
* Deliver a calendar of events and activities which further Paramount’s business priorities and bring its content to life, including Town Halls, screenings, Meet the Maker sessions, etc.
* Support and prepare speakers ahead of Town Hall sessions and other key events.
* Work alongside Paramount colleagues to stage social events that contribute to the vibrant company culture.
* Support global teams such as the Office of Global Inclusion to amplify and deliver company-wide initiatives.
* Manage external suppliers and IC resource.
* Continually review and improve the company’s Internal Comms output.
What are we looking for?
* Demonstrable experience of delivering Internal Communications at a senior executive level.
* Proactivity in sourcing and developing stories from around the business.
* Excellent written and interpersonal communications skills.
* Experience of working with technical and production partners to deliver standout events.
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with key business partners.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
* Strong organisational skills.
* A self-starter with a can-do attitude, enthusiasm and flexibility.
