Annual wage
£12,313.60 a year
Possibility of Christmas and end of financial year bonus ( not guaranteed). This is dependant on sales figures and profit made.

Monday - Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm. 30 minutes for lunch. 15 minutes morning break. 15 minutes afternoon break.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
* Panel build (fitting electrical components to a back plate)
* Reading wiring schematics and interpret cable sizes, ferrule type
* Wiring of Mounting plate to an approved circuit diagram
* Occasional mechanical work, building and testing of Ex enclosures
* Electrical fault finding & rework
* Opportunity for off site electrical work (after induction training)

* You will be required to attend Plymouth Engineering Skills Centre a day a week as part of your apprenticeship training

* AUEC2-039 Assembling, wiring and testing electrical panels/components mounted in enclosures
* AUEC2-010 Wiring and testing electrical equipment & circuits
* AUEC2-00 Maintaining electrical units/ systems
