Job Description
QA/QC required by CareerWise Recruitment for our multinational client in Shannon, County Clare.
Responsibilities
Daily / Weekly:
* Collecting production samples each morning for analysis.
* Preparing Excel spreadsheet each morning on daily/nightly production efficiency for Plant Manager.
* Preparing daily reports on Extrusion production and waste controls.
* Receiving and checking incoming label orders from several printers.
* Preparing printed label sample sheets for weekly shipments to customers.
* Preparing dimensional checks on all product series in operation each morning.
* Preparing KPI reports at a defined period.
* Scanning all production documentation to QA computer.
* Reviewing requirements of ISO 9001 and 14001 standards.
* Reviewing requirements of PRP's and SOP's for FSSC 22000 standard.
* Reviewing all relevant emails and replying promptly.
Weekly:
* Maintaining FSSC 22000 PRP's and SOPs as required throughout the surveillance period for auditing.
* Maintaining documentation for processes in the Integrated Quality Management and Environmental systems.
* Completing customer questionnaires and replying to external queries.
* Completing all finished label order documentation.
* Completing Corporate Engineering Notices and Bulletins for distribution.
* Attending Leadership and Food Safety Team meetings with management.
* Securing all product samples for retrieval if needed.
Monthly:
* Correlating data from FSSC 22000 processes for uploading to the main corporate site.
* Collaborating with the Production Manager on employee training matrices.
* Providing Food Safety Training for core employees and temporary workers.
* Logging Customer Complaint Forms for management review.
Annually:
* Scheduling onsite courses for Manual Handling, Audiometric Testing, First Aid Refresher, and Forklift Refresher Training.
* Reviewing and updating Health and Safety Manuals.
* Reviewing onsite Risk Analysis.
* Ensuring all Health and Safety equipment is serviced.
* Addressing all Non-Conformances within agreed timeframes.
* Liaising with Lead Auditors for each audit.
Requirements
* Experience in maintaining and preparing audits.
* Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 Quality and Environmental Management Systems.
* FSSC 22000 Food Safety System Certification experience.
