Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Powertrain Calibration Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on Hybrid and pure electric powertrain projects.
* This role involves supporting calibration activities, working with autonomy in a small agile team, and using calibration processes to meet project deliverables.
* You will be responsible for developing core calibration methods for new hybrid/EV powertrain systems, analysing calibration results, and generating engineering change requests.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have a degree in Mechanical or Electronics Engineering and at least 5 years of post-graduate experience in powertrain calibration.
* Key responsibilities include task planning, delivering powertrain calibrations, supporting other teams, and optimising system performance.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to overcome cultural barriers are essential, as is a good driving record and experience in vehicle driveability assessment.
Requirements
* Degree in Mechanical or Electronics Engineering
* 5+ years of experience in powertrain calibration
* Production level knowledge of Hybrid powertrain systems
* Experience with automotive calibration tools (ETAS INCA/MDA preferred)
* Ability to travel abroad occasionally
