We are looking for a Sr Technical Program Manager (TPM) who is capable of breaking down and solving complex problems, and has a real ability to get things done. ED&D supports both legacy and emergent technologies to meet customer need and in this role you will design and deliver innovative solutions that enable simplification, efficiency, and scale. You will be involved with developing ML and GenAI solutions to help scale automation, risk management, and customer support. You will be a strong operational process leader, driving consistency and simplification across engineering teams. Strong partnership with multiple product, business, and technology teams across IMDb and Amazon will be critical to success in this role. This role will require you to drive alignment and make high-judgment recommendations, including difficult tradeoffs with implications beyond your immediate team. Key job responsibilities 1) Own successful delivery of large, high impact and highly cross-functional product initiatives while simultaneously and accurately tracking a set of smaller projects 2) Drive strategic cross-functional planning, leading discovery and prioritization by closely partnering with product managers and engineering leads to develop program plans that include roadmaps, dependency identifications, and resourcing plans 3) Ascertain the true requirements underlying feature requests; recommend alternative technical approaches and lead engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines 4) Communicate clearly and effectively to executive management on plans, status, and critical issues 5) Partner as a technical liaison between business, operational, product, and engineering teams 6) Partner with engineering to drive operational excellence About the team IMDb's Entertainment Data & Discovery (ED&D) is responsible for the acquisition, accuracy, and availability of all IMDb data that drives IMDb experiences in addition to making that data available to hundreds of partners both inside and outside of Amazon.
