* You will be directly supporting our World ClassSubmarines by producing 3D models of either Pipe routes, HVACsystems or mechanical compartment arrangements using the CADtoolset
Your responsibilities willalso include producing 2D drawings and electronic data and BoM itemdevelopment to a fast – paced schedule to support manufacturing,installation, and testing of ourproducts Develop and maintain closeworking relationships with other Design team members andStakeholders who are working towards the same commongoal Working as a team to producean Integrated Design that meets our client’s expectations andagreed set of requirements
Your skills andexperiences:
* Understanding of CAD toolsets and techniques e.g.AUTOCAD, Foran, Solidworks and Siemens NX etc. in both 2D(Diagrams) and 3D outputs (drawings and models)
HNC / ONC level or degreequalification in relevant STEM subject or equivalent workexperience Understanding of mechanicalrouted systems at both 2D and 3D level in either piping or HVACdesign Experience in MechanicalCompartment Integration / Room Integration and or EngineeringStandards at Component / Equipmentlevel

You will report to a Project Leader where you will beworking in a team of other Designers at various levels ofexperience and knowledge who will also support you in yourdevelopment. The potential career path in this role could see youprogressing to a Principal Designer or Assistant Project Leader orother roles within our Business.
