We are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant role based in Bolton.
Contract: 6 Month fixed term
Full time Office Based
Hours: 37.5- 40 hrs
Responsibilities:
1. Manage the purchase and sales ledger, processing invoices, payments, and receipts.
2. Assist in weekly reconciling control account & bank statements.
3. Credit control, debt chasing, and collection.
4. Conducting VAT and transaction testing.
5. Assist with month end and year end closing procedures.
6. Taking responsibility for maintaining financial records.
7. Ensuring data entry is precise and thorough.
8. General administration duties such as filing documents and helping to manage correspondence.
The successful candidate:
1. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
2. A form of financial qualification e.g. AAT.
3. Has experience in a similar role and can work to strict deadlines.
