Are you a fully qualified FP&A specialist with a wealth of experience within consolidated financial planning?
Do you have a high proficiency with Anaplan and Excel for forecasting and analysis?
This is a new role which offers significant opportunity for the right candidate to apply and develop their existing expertise in a growing business. It is ideally suited to a seasoned financial professional in this area who is detail-oriented with an appetite to challenge the status quo and enjoys driving change. This role can be based out of our London, Chatham, or Wolverhampton office.

About Us
As the Head of Consolidated Financial Planning, you will play a key role in supporting Finance Management and the Group Executive Committee by owning the preparation of the Group's financial plans and providing robust and insightful analysis related to all aspects of the Group's near-term and longer-term strategic financial goals.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Lead the coordination, preparation, and interpretation of the Group financial plan with relevant information to make and support informed decisions through insightful analysis and commentary.
* Play a key role in establishing and driving the ongoing development of Anaplan models for financial analysis as the team continues the build-out Anaplan capability, involving liaising closely with the in-house Anaplan development team.
* Own and challenge the inclusion of costs and benefits of the Group's Transformation programme into the consolidated financial plan working with the existing project costs and project benefits teams.
* Lead and implement scenario analysis of the Group financial plan as required, including supporting insight to establish confidence in the firm's financial strategy.
* Provide ad-hoc analysis and inputs as required for the wider Finance team, senior management, the Executive, Board, and Regulator.
* Prepare regular financial reports to support analysis for changes in the Group financial plan over time, clear articulation of changing drivers and their sensitivity.

This Head of Consolidation Financial Planning position is being offered as a permanent role with a salary of £85,000 - £105,000.

We are looking for a talented consolidated financial expert who has the experience and knowledge set out below:
* 5 years of senior leadership experience within the FP&A space within Financial Services is essential.
* Experience of consolidated financial planning and understanding of key drivers for a retail bank across the full financial statement including EIR and capital is essential.
* Experience using Anaplan and Excel to a high degree of proficiency for forecasting and analysis is essential.
* Thorough practical understanding of management accounting principles and techniques is essential.
