What skills and experience we're looking for
We need a Deputy Headteacher who will:
- Play a key role in leading teacher development, supporting our staff to become effective practitioners and experts in their specialist fields.
- Lead on the implementation and evaluation of the school's instructional and peer coaching programme
- Continue to drive and develop the school's curriculum through working closely with subject leaders
- Be a proactive DDSL, supporting the DSL team to methodically plan out training needs for the whole school community
- Ensure the high-quality implementation of whole school key policies, such as our positive relationship and behaviour policy
- Oversee and lead on communication to our stakeholders and wider community
- Cover in class as required, including three Read Write Inc phonic sessions over the course of a week
