The Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced SAP FICO consultant to join our innovative Shared Services IT team. This is a senior consultant role suited to candidates with demonstrable configuration skills in the SAP FICO modules, a sound knowledge of statutory accounting principles and of industry good practice. You will liaise with business stakeholders to design and deliver solutions to meet business requirements and produce technical specifications. You will implement configuration changes and coordinate resources across technical teams, ensuring solutions are delivered in line with governance processes and to agreed timescales and quality. This is a fantastic opportunity to join us as we embark on our S/4 HANA transformation journey.
We support an effective work-life balance and are open to discussing flexible work requests - we welcome both full and part-time applications for this role, with a minimum requirement for the role of 22.2 hours worked over 4 days.
This role will be based at our Winchester offices; however, as part of Hampshire County Council's Open Workplace Policy, the successful candidate can undertake the majority of their work at home.
This post is subject to Non-Police Personnel Vetting. Further information about this process will be provided to successful candidates. Candidates must have resided in the UK for a minimum of 3 years in order for clearance to be obtained.
