The support given increases digital and financial wellbeing as well as employability, enabling a difference to be made in our communities.
You will develop the team to ensure that the support we’re providing to our customers really assists those affected by changes in their benefits or those who are financially excluded. Your job satisfaction will come from the great outcomes achieved and the strong collaborative working that takes place.
You will be a natural coach, taking time in the moment to upskill the team.
You’ll be experienced in this field, providing guidance and technical expertise on more complex cases.
Working with the Team Manager, you will develop and embed efficient case management practices and promote the service to all stakeholders you engage with.
You’ll already be able to visualize what this role could look like. The impact of strong community support is crucial, and the team plays a vital role.
You will already be a leader or in a position to take on a leadership role. You’re going to be confident in supporting the team virtually, and being a leader across operating regions will be challenging.
You’ll have in-depth knowledge of the benefit and Universal Credit systems and the employability landscape.
You will have a track record of partnership working. Building strong relationships that can support the teams’ outcomes will be essential, and you’ll be able to demonstrate great examples of collaboration.
To support the day-to-day role, you’ll have strong literacy, numeracy, and IT skills and will be confident using systems and processes.
There will be a requirement for you to attend offices in our region to support the team and work collaboratively with the wider housing team, so you’ll ideally be based in or just outside our operating area.
