At SmithNephew, we design and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living In this role there will be a significant opportunity to design and embed solid end to end talent processes and strategies to really future proof the business. This is a big step for us at SmithNephew, and in this stand alone role, we need someone who is comfortable straddling both strategy and execution. We are at the very beginning stages of strategic workforce planning which provides opportunity to define, own and influence how we plan and execute our strategy and approach. What will you be doing? Build frameworks and processes that allow us to better utilise data to inform our talent strategies globally. Through such frameworks and processes we want to get to a place where we can better plan how we Build, Buy, Borrow and Boost our skills, talent and capabilities within the organisation. Achieving this will require strong partnerships with key people internally including our Business Leaders, HRBPs and COEs. Through those partnerships and relationships we expect to see improved forecasting, and gap analysis that will allow us to identify and in some instances predict skills shortages, needs and requirements. Reporting will also play a key and pivotal role, how do we find and utilise the information, build out and automate reporting capabilities to informing leaders, key partners and decision makers about trends and needs in the business. This will ultimately deliver improved capability and credibility. What does success look like? Success in the role will be determined by multiple aspects. Firstly it is won and lost on the relationships you build, maintain and grow. Building credibility that will allow you to deliver a positive impact and manage change particularly where/if there is any resistance. Successful candidates would need the following: Significant experience in stratregic workforce planning, HR strategy and/ or organisational design/development Strong analytical skills with experience in strategic workforce modelling and forecasting Ability to present complex data and insights in a clear and compelling way to business leaders Please submit any applications in English You.
