Key purpose of role:
The Parent Contact Coordinator will be responsible to the Assistant Principal for being the first point of contact for parents seeking support for their children at the College. They will oversee the recording of student absence, support for learning with parents, and provide general support and administrative assistance for parents as part of the college team.
The postholder will be responsible for the overall coordination of contact with parents to help support EN students to achieve the highest level of attendance and reduce barriers to learning as much as possible. They will provide attendance support to the Assistant Principal, the Progress Manager, and Progress Tutors by analysing attendance data, making follow-up telephone calls, supporting the organisation of meetings for parents/carers and students, and sending out relevant correspondence.
The postholder will act in a friendly and welcoming manner, as a first point of contact for parents and carers to help support the highest quality relationships between the College and home.
Working Hours: 32.5 hrs per week, 195 days per year, 7.30 – 2.30 pm (30 minutes unpaid for lunch) Monday to Friday*
