This role is full time, with a requirement to work shifts on a 1 day on 2 day off pattern, with a requirement to complete between 6-8 sleep in shifts every month. Who are Haven Care Group? Meeting the physical, emotional, behavioural, cultural and educational needs of young people Attending to Young Peoples practical, physical, and emotional needs and acting as an appropriate role model. Working closely with Young People to enable them to address their difficulties and achieve their optimum potential. Ensuring shifts are planned with Residential Support Workers, to take the lead on shift and be responsible for the events on the shift Attending to Young Peoples practical, physical, and emotional needs and acting as an appropriate role model. Attending to practical matters in relation to childcare (cooking, cleaning etc) Establishing positive relationships with young people and always offering them unconditional and positive regard. Driving company vehicles (current driving license holders subject to procedures) About You To be successful as a Residential Support Worker with HCG, you will need to possess the following essential attributes: A kind, caring and compassionate nature, with a fair but firm approach Formal or informal experience of supporting Young People who may live with a Learning Disability or are Neuro-Diverse. Full UK Manual Driving Licence Ability to work shifts and sleep in the home overnight A recognised qualification in Residential Child Care at Level 3 / 4 or ability and willingness to work towards achieving within a set time frame How to Apply Please note that you must be 21 years of age or above to apply due to childrens homes regulations.
