Who we are looking for
Westmorland and Furness Council are seeking a dedicated Service Support Officer to join our ICT service team and contribute to the effective delivery of IT services. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and supporting our IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, ensuring that technology services are delivered efficiently and align with our organisational goals.
Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Administrative, asset and configuration management support.
2. Managing ICT procurement requests.
3. Acting as a point of reference to ICT service staff for procurement queries and issues.
4. Managing goods receipting and disposal.
5. Maintaining service quality, conducting regular reviews, and implementing best practices in ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) methodologies.
