Product Strategy Manager (Higher Education) Salary: £49,300 - £55,000 Location: Cambridge (UK), hybrid Contract: Full time, fixed term until April 2026 We are seeking an aspiring product strategist with a keen interest in Higher Education to fill the exciting role of Product Strategy Manager (HE). This position will make a significant contribution as we drive forward with new product developments and seek continued opportunities to experiment and learn. You will bring your interest in product management approaches, knowledge of digital products and enthusiasm for Higher Education to shape the future of our Academic publishing. About the role This role sits within the Digital Publishing department of the Academic product group at Cambridge University Press & Assessment. The department's remit comprises two principal accountabilities: digital publishing product strategy, and cross-functional operational management of digital publishing projects. Working closely with the Senior Product Strategy Manager (HE), this role drives the strategic direction and global growth of our digital publishing products. You will:
* Define the vision and strategy for a portfolio of digital publishing products throughout their lifecycle from ideation to maturity or exit.
* Establish an insight driven approach to identify opportunities with systematic gathering and analysis of customer needs, market trends and competitor activity.
* Work closely with colleagues in Academic Technology, Market Development, Editorial, UX and a broad range of business stakeholders to identify and prioritise solutions and refinements to your product strategy roadmap.
About you You bring a collaborative and open approach to developing opportunities, knowledge of product management, tools and frameworks coupled with exceptional communication skills and an agile mindset. Your commercial awareness, research skills and analytical approach enable you to prioritise complex problems and opportunities whilst also presenting compelling proposals for senior colleagues.
