Key Responsibilities: Manage the daily operations of a childrens home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations. Lead, train, and motivate a team of care staff to provide top-quality care. Develop care plans and risk assessments to meet individual needs. Oversee the health, safety, and safeguarding of all children in your care. Manage budgets, staffing, and resources efficiently. Maintain strong relationships with social workers, parents, and external professionals. Regularly review and improve care quality to meet high standards. Skills & Experience Required: Previous experience as a Childrens Home Manager or Deputy in childrens care. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent). In-depth knowledge of childrens care regulations (e.g., Ofsted, Childrens Homes Regulations). Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a team. Proven ability to create care plans, manage risks, and safeguard children. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Desirable: Full UK driving license.
