AWE is currently recruiting an Apprenticeship Funding & Compliance Manager to join our team in the Skills Academy, to ensure that apprenticeship programs adhere to regulatory and funding requirements. Location: RG7 4PR, located between Reading and Basingstoke, with free onsite parking. Package: £45,000 - £49,000 (depending on your suitability, qualifications, and level of experience) Working pattern: AWE operates a 9-day working fortnight. Let us introduce the role As the Apprenticeship Funding & Compliance Manager, you will conduct compliance checks, manage ILR returns, update apprentice progress records, handle breaks in learning, oversee the completion of apprenticeship standards, process technical qualification claims, and plan audits of learner files. You will manage the claiming, registration, and administration of awarding bodies. Additionally, you will stay informed about changes to ESFA rules and serve as the primary contact for ESFA account communications. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity and effectiveness of apprenticeship programs. Here are some key responsibilities: Ensuring adherence to ESFA funding rules through comprehensive audits and reporting. Managing data integrity and quality, including resolving apprenticeship rule violations (DLOCKs). Monitoring performance against targets and key performance indicators (KPIs). Producing and maintaining accurate documentation for audits and compliance. Working closely with internal audit teams and external stakeholders to ensure compliance. Streamlining processes and managing control processes for activities subject to external audits. Who are we looking for? We are seeking individuals that have worked in a similar funding and compliance role, ideally within an apprenticeship environment. You should have previously managed compliance control processes and audits, and resolved apprenticeship rule violations (DLOCKs). Whilst not to be considered a tick list, we'd like you to have experience in some of the following: Proficient in MS Office. Strong planning and organisational skills, coping with multiple tasks and able to deliver in the face of challenges. Accurate and analytical. Collaborative and proactive. High ethical standards. Knowledge of Apprenticeship Funding & Compliance rules. A current working knowledge of apprenticeship funding rules, ILR returns and learner tracking platforms. Performance monitoring against KPIs.
