We have an exciting opportunity for someone with experience of first line risk responsibilities to join us as a First Line Risk Senior Risk Analyst
As our First Line Risk Senior Risk Analyst you’ll be a Trusted Risk Partner for Operations and Technology stakeholders and work collaboratively to reduce risk exposure.

The Role
As part of a small team, you’ll provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) guidance to stakeholders on the Risk Management Framework and Operational Risk Management Policy and provide challenge and oversight to business areas to support the embedding of the Risk Framework. You’ll lead Risk & Control Self-Assessment activity, to identify, assess, manage, and report changes to the risk profile.
You’ll also take responsibility for:
* Conducting Assurance testing (Control, Thematic and Outcome Testing)
* Drafting risk papers and supporting effective risk reporting.
* Analysing data within the Risk Management System (Magique) to support risk management framework activity and produce reports on trend analysis, risk events and Risk MI / Key Risk Indicators
* Developing and presenting risk management training and awareness sessions
* Facilitating ICAAP Scenario exercises including workshops across functions.
* Leading Regulatory Compliance activity to ensure gap analysis and oversight activity is effective.
* Working collaboratively across the first line risk team to achieve shared goals
* Working closely with risk business partners and teams to ensure consistency of approach for risk framework practices.
About You
We’re looking for someone with significant experience of First Line Risk responsibilities: Knowledge of Risk Management Framework and Operational Risk requirements, and in facilitating meetings and workshops at operational and senior management level.
We’d also like to see:
* Experience conducting Assurance Testing across business areas, articulating, and supporting key findings to stakeholders.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Working using your own initiative and as part of a team to ensure deadlines are met.
* The ability to collect, analyse and interpret data.
