For the charity, our objective is to provide everyone with the information, advice and guidance they need to make informed decisions on their next steps. We deliver on this via our media ecosystem which consists of information, advice and guidance on ucas.com, our social media feeds across various channels, email, live events and webinars, For UCAS Media, our business objective is to generate revenue through paid collaborations with higher education providers who wish to improve their position in the market, and commercial brands who want to reach students. All brands wishing to use our media ecosystem and insight services must align with our framework. All profits generated are gift aided to UCAS the charity and in turn fund the charitable objectives, such as our recent announcement that students in receipt of free school meals will no longer need to pay the UCAS application fee. About the role Contractual Hours 35.00 About the role To support the sale, service and delivery of UCAS’ rapidly growing Paid Media and display proposition. This role works primarily on our Paid social channels but would also be trained in onsite digital display. Supporting the consultancy, processing, delivery and reporting of campaigns across Facebook & Instagram, Google Ads, Snapchat and TikTok for offsite campaigns, and Google Ad Manager for onsite campaigns. The post holder will communicate with clients and UCAS Sales Account Managers to consult, scope, build and optimize campaigns within platform for the best results. Key accountabilities: • Create and deliver Paid Media & Onsite display campaigns in digital marketing platforms. This role is primarily focused on Paid social but will be cross trained across other channels including Display. • Accurate interpretation of campaign briefs or bookings, translating information into building campaigns in platforms and ongoing optimisation for pre agreed or best possible results. • Creating test plans where appropriate to look for best outcomes. • Use time management skills to manage a broad range of campaigns at different stages. • Responsible for building campaigns with an eye on optimising success, monitoring and resolving issues. • Support team members, sales teams and clients with media planning queries, technical queries and suggestions where required. Skills, qualifications, and experience • Working knowledge of digital marketing platforms and building campaigns. • Previous experience of working in a digital marketing role. • Technical / logical thinker. • Proficient in communicating via telephone, email and face-to-face. • Strong admin and sales support skills with a good level of organisational skills and methodological approach. • Previous experience of using Salesforce is desirable but not essential. • Effective planning, co-ordination and time management skills. • Attention to detail and process driven. • Working knowledge of excel or similar interpret and manipulate data for reporting. • Able to meet deadlines and perform under pressure. • Highly motivated to learn and grow.
