ContractorUK is generating over 150,000 visits/month on average and bears a community of 20,000+ members who are IT/Tech Contractors.
Day-to-Day Duties
• Developing and overseeing marketing campaigns in line with the overall marketing strategy, to help achieve business goals
• Developing and managing content and promotional material for use over a variety of channels
• Communicating and coordinating with stakeholders regarding marketing campaigns to ensure successful and optimal execution
• Tracking and analysing performance of campaigns to measure effectiveness and optimising to ensure ROI
• Building and maintaining strategic relationships with key external stakeholders
Essential Skills & Experience
• Proven experience in developing and executing successful digital marketing campaigns
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with the latest marketing tools and technologies
• Ability to stay up to date with the latest industry trends and developments
• Strong attention to detail and outstanding organisation skills
• Ability to think innovatively and commercially
Responsibilities
• Develop strategies and tactics to get the word out about our company & partners and drive qualified traffic to our front door
• Develop & optimise relevant content for Search (SEO)
• Manage our community (Forum, LinkedIn, Registered members…) by delivering them relevant information / content
• Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution
• Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels like content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, performance analysis
• Produce valuable and engaging content for our website and blog that attracts and converts our target groups
• Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors
• Oversee and approve all marketing material, from website banners to brochures and case studies
• Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals
• Analyse consumer behaviour and adjust email and advertising campaigns accordingly
Requirements
• 5 years demonstrable experience in digital marketing.
• Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate
• Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
• Experience in setting up and optimising Google Adwords campaigns
• Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets
• A sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy and witty communication
• Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
• BSc/MSc degree in Marketing or related field
The successful candidate will be rewarded with a £36 to 40,000 OTE package, Health Insurance, flexible hours (incl. 2 days WfH) for a full-time (40h/w) permanent contract, based in Hemel Hempstead.
