Application Support Analyst

Purpose of the role:
The Application Support Analyst will be required to support the Atlas Development lead in day-to-day maintenance of the Atlas database and to carry out project specific tasks listed below.
Duties involve:
* Provide 1st and 2nd line support for the Atlas application.
* Querying the Atlas database and producing required reports.
* Conduct and document data integrity checks on project datasets to ensure a high standard of data quality.
* Data validation checks prior to imports.
* Data imports into Atlas including the bulk upload of project related documents.
* Creation of relevant business process documentation.
* Conducting testing procedures on recent developments to the database. (Training provided)
* Initial creation of new projects on the Atlas database.
* Project maintenance for existing projects.
* Monitoring Team inbox responding to queries from within the business and clients.
* Creating users for the database and assigning the relevant roles and responsibilities.
* Querying the database and generating project specific reports as requested by project team members.
* Initial troubleshooting of the database as issues arise.
* Testing updates and developments implemented by the development team.
Experience / skills required:
* Working towards either a degree qualification in Software Development or a related field such as Computer Science or Data Analytics.
* Experience using T-SQL.
* Querying/Creating/Updating Data.
* Creation of stored procedures and views.
* Experience of using Microsoft Excel.
* Conditional formatting and use of functions.
* Experience using VBA in Microsoft Excel.
* Familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word etc).
* Understanding of Python scripting.
* Understanding of HTML CSS.
* Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
* Good interpersonal skills and good team player.
* Flexibility and adaptability in the range of work undertaken and deliver it with enthusiasm.
* Self-motivated and keen to motivate others.
