A secondary school in Farnborough is seeking an enthusiastic Design and Technology (DT) Teacher to join their team from March until the end of the academic year. This full-time supply role involves delivering DT lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students to explore creativity, engineering, and design processes.
* Teach Design and Technology across KS3 & KS4, following the national curriculum.
* Deliver lessons in a range of DT areas including Product Design, Graphics, and Resistant Materials.
* Plan and run practical lessons that encourage students to develop their creative and technical skills.
* Foster a passion for design thinking and problem-solving through hands-on projects.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
* Work collaboratively with the DT department to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
* Support students in coursework and exam preparation, ensuring they reach their full potential.
Qualifications:
* Qualified DT Teachers (QTS/QTLS preferred).
* ECTs looking to gain valuable classroom experience in a supportive school environment.
* Unqualified teachers with relevant subject knowledge and teaching experience may also be considered.
* Individuals with a passion for Design and Technology, strong classroom management skills, and the ability to inspire students.
