Operations Manager Our Role We currently have a vacancy for an Operations Manager to cover our Northwest region. Reporting in to the Regional Manager, this person will be responsible for managing and delivering work, with a focus on safety, quality of delivery and operational efficiency. Leading a team and working alongside other senior leaders to further grow our capabilities within the Region. Key Responsibilities We are looking for someone to: Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key customers, ensuring their needs and expectations are consistently met or exceeded. Conduct regular site audits to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures. Promote and enforce safe working practices across all operational activities. Implement and uphold company policies and procedures to maintain consistency and compliance across the business. Collaborate cross-functionally to optimise resource sharing and operational efficiency. Mentor, support, and upskill Depot Managers to enhance their leadership and operational performance. Oversee the successful delivery of major projects, ensuring all work meets required quality and safety standards. Manage and lead the operational delivery team, ensuring high performance and accountability. Support Depot Managers in engaging effectively with frontline operatives to drive motivation and productivity. Oversee the scheduling, resourcing, and planning of works to ensure efficient and timely delivery. Lead incident investigations, ensuring root causes are identified and corrective actions are implemented effectively. Contribute to recruitment and workforce development strategies to maintain a strong talent pipeline aligned with operational needs.
