About The Role
Loss Prevention Partners protect Partners, customers and secure assets through efficient risk management and effective communication within their designated shops. This includes loss or damage to stock, loss of cash, and non-compliance to process.
Due to working regulations, applicants must be 18 years or over to apply.
What will you be doing?
1. Mitigating the risk of malicious harm to Partners and Customers;
2. Managing shrinkage performance within budget and risk appetite.
You will play a key role in a John Lewis branch by investigating trends and reporting on key themes, thoroughly investigating shrinkage to protect our profit. You'll protect your fellow Partners and customers by patrolling the shop floor to deter potential theft and monitor CCTV for signs of suspicious behaviour.
The role will address all aspects of Shrinkage, including external and internal dishonesty, procedural failure, and administrative error within the John Lewis Partnership.
You will need to be confident and reassuring to de-escalate conflict situations in the branch professionally.
You will have to raise awareness of all aspects of shrinkage by supporting and coaching fellow Partners.
You’ll work on a rota basis for this role and will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Will I receive training?
You will receive full and comprehensive training in the first few weeks of starting in your new role. If you do not have previous experience in this role, don’t worry; we will provide all the training you need.

* Previous experience in a loss prevention role.
* Previous experience in a customer-facing environment.
