Business Development Manager (Drain Services)
We are seeking a Business Development Manager (Drain Services) to join our client's rapidly growing team! This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in maintaining and developing relationships with new and existing customers while enjoying a hybrid working model—both onsite and office-based.
Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 + Commission
Location: Halifax Hybrid (Onsite & Office-Based)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
What You'll Be Doing:
1. Cold calling and generating new business opportunities
2. Developing and maintaining relationships with customers through calls, emails, Teams, and site visits
3. Leveraging your existing network to drive business growth
4. Managing projects and supporting client needs
5. Responding to inbound leads and following up on prospects
6. Preparing and presenting written quotes to potential clients
7. Meeting KPIs and sales targets set by management
What We're Looking For:
1. Previous sales experience is essential (full training provided on products & procedures)
2. A proven track record in a sales or business development role
3. Highly motivated with a passion for sales and ambition for career growth
4. Experience in surface water drainage or civil engineering is advantageous
5. Resilience and determination to thrive in a competitive environment
