Public Area Attendants set the tone for the entire property. How the property looks and feels plays a huge part in the guest experience. You will be out and about, ensuring all guest and employee areas are safe and clean according to safety standards. You provide excellent customer service and location information while supporting the overall goals of the company.
1. Performs a variety of entry-level housekeeping and delivery tasks.
2. Routinely cleans public areas.
3. Operates cleaning equipment.
4. Makes supplies deliveries and maintains supply closets.
5. Identifies maintenance issues.
6. Respond to guest and management questions and inquiries.
7. Must pass a pre-employment background check.
8. Minimum age of 18 years is required to reside in company housing, where available.
9. Participates in HAP’s sustainability program, aka “Sustain Alaska & the Yukon”, and efforts by actively recycling (where available), reducing waste, and educating guests about our commitment to the environment.
10. Participate in HAP’s safety culture to ensure a safe workplace for all team members and a safe vacation experience for all guests.

14. Ability to organize and prioritize work, and maintain attention to time constraints, while working in a team or group environment.
15. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences.
16. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving daily goals.
17. Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures, and guidelines including support and comply with company health and safety standards.
18. Ability to stand/walk/work on feet for a minimum of 8 hours per day.
