This amazing long term Programme Manager contract role is a unique opportunity to showcase your expertise and skills with a world leading Formula 1 business in Northamptonshire. You will be the key interface between multiple departments and come from a fast-paced engineering background within an industry such as Motorsport, Defence, Automotive, Medical, Aerospace or Hybrid Technologies. As the Programme Manager, you will ensure daily, weekly and monthly objectives are clear, structured and relevant, and ensure all personnel, hardware, software, and equipment are available in a timely fashion and fit for purpose. We’re looking for a candidate with the ability to: Create transparency and clarity throughout the business with regards to what the programme is trying to deliver, when, and what’s needed to do it successfully Make complex ideas, plans and actions, simple, understandable and accessible to all Influence and align the business with drive and determination, pushing to deliver against aggressive targets, setting the drumbeat and tone as part of an Engineering led business You will be liaising with chief engineers, heads of department, and senior engineers across electrical mechanical functions so you will be expected to develop and nurture relationships with each of these stakeholders, whilst having the ability to challenge decisions to ensure project delivery remains on time and to budget; all the while keeping your stakeholders happy and on side. You will demonstrate knowledge of technical engineering understanding, and will hold either an engineering, science-based or business degree. This role will be working on long term projected programmes with the expectation on subsequent long-term extensions. Initially this is a 12 month contract but is very likely to be extended.
