WTG Technician – Onshore Wind (Contract)

We are currently seeking an experienced WTG Technician to join our client's onshore wind operations based in Bedfordshire. This is a professional opportunity to contribute to the sustainable energy landscape on a contract basis for a period of 12 months.
Role Overview: The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of wind turbine generators (WTGs). The technician will ensure operational efficiency, safety compliance, and report on turbine status within the onshore wind farm.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform routine maintenance on WTGs.
2. Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
3. Document technical data and report on daily activities.
4. Adhere to safety protocols and environmental policies.
5. Collaborate with site teams to optimize wind turbine performance.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a WTG Technician or similar role in the wind energy sector.
2. Technical certification or diploma in a related field.
3. Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in wind turbines.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in challenging environments.
5. Effective communication and teamwork skills.
