Job summary The post holder will lead and manage the 0-19 teams within Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust Children Young People Public Health Directorate. The post holder will be responsible for providing clinical leadership, support and management of skill mix teams made up of SCPHN health visitors, school nurses, staff nurses, family health practitioners and screeners, ensuring delivery of commissioned activity in line with the care group, Public Health commissioners service specifications, the national Healthy Child Programme and public health outcomes framework. Main duties of the job Develop and ensure effective multiagency working with midwives, schools, children centres, GP's, early intervention services, and other children service providers and community and voluntary sector providers. To work in partnership with the service manager in the profiling and on-going monitoring of caseloads and individual workload, using the demand and capacity tool, revising as required the allocation of resource to areas of greatest need. Support the service manager in the development of a quality performance approach with individuals and teams. To support and facilitate the use of information technology and modern working practices that aid frontline practitioners and service delivery. Demonstrate up-to-date research-based, clinically effective practice, ensuring awareness of current legislation, education and audit.
