Working in a hybrid style, based at home and in the Dundee House, you will work full time, 37 hours per week.

Requirements
You will have a Degree or equivalent in Town Planning and Chartered membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute.
Responsibilities
You will contribute to the effective and efficient management and development of the development management function of the city Council’s Planning Team, promoting sustainable economic development and the protection of the environment.
The Individual
You will have relevant post qualification experience in a planning role, a sound knowledge of statutory development management, planning and regeneration in Scotland and experience of supervising staff.
You will also have leadership skills, good written communication skills with the ability to draft reports to a high standard, and the ability to work under pressure.
Occasional attendance at evening meetings is also required.
