This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and organised individual who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, security, and health and safety across our premises. Key Responsibilities: Site Security & Access: Open and close the school premises daily, including occasional evenings and weekends. Act as the principal key holder and respond to emergency call-outs as needed. Health & Safety Compliance: Conduct in-house statutory testing, routine inspections, and maintenance tasks to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Repairs & Maintenance: Carry out minor repairs and report major maintenance issues to relevant contractors. Ensure all entry points, including gates, doors, and windows, are secure and functional. Cleanliness & Hygiene: Support the upkeep of a clean and well-presented learning environment, maintaining high hygiene standards. Equipment & Utilities Management: Monitor and maintain school facilities, ensuring all utilities and equipment function effectively. Team & Community Support: Work closely with school staff to support operational needs and contribute positively to the wider school community. What We're Looking For: Basic knowledge of building maintenance, repairs, and health & safety procedures. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good communication skills with a proactive and adaptable approach. Physical fitness to carry out manual tasks. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential. Why Join Us?
