***Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional learning needs such as slight autism and ADHD.
Requirements:
Some understanding of additional learning needs.
A bachelor’s degree in psychology, or a related subject.
Passion for the learning of young SEN learners.
Commitment to assisting SEN pupils aged 3-11 in achieving their full potential.
Understanding of the significance of safeguarding processes.
Prior experience of working in a school setting is advantageous, but not mandatory.
The Role
As an SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will…
Assist teaching staff in the planning and delivery of lessons across the syllabus.
Adapt learning materials to suit the individual needs of each pupil.
Provide constructive feedback to pupils and teaching staff to ensure a productive learning environment.
Aid in the running of extracurricular activities and wider school community events.
