As a Principal Geotechnical Engineer, you will play a critical role in providing geotechnical expertise and leadership in the development of renewable energy projects. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all geotechnical aspects are addressed effectively and efficiently, contributing to the successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead geotechnical investigations and provide expert analysis for renewable energy projects.
2. Oversee the design and implementation of geotechnical solutions for project sites.
3. Collaborate with clients, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are met.
4. Prepare and review geotechnical reports, proposals, and technical documents.
5. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
6. Identify and mitigate geotechnical risks associated with renewable energy projects.
7. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and team members.
8. Stay updated with the latest developments and advancements in geotechnical engineering and renewable energy sectors.
Qualifications and Experience:
9. Proven experience as a Principal Geotechnical Engineer, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
10. Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles and practices.
11. Experience in leading geotechnical investigations and project design.
12. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
13. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
14. Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
15. Proficiency in relevant geotechnical software and tools.
16. A degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
17. Professional registration or chartered status is advantageous.
