To have good knowledge of the Trust IT systems including Panda, ICE, Careflow & CRIS looking up results, booking patients on, confirming patients, inputting clinical details etc Provide clerical assistance requesting notes, collecting and filing reports, photocopying. Make any ongoing appointments and assist with completing the outcomes for clinic attendances. To have the knowledge to appropriately prepare screening rooms, clinic rooms and equipment for ultrasound and gynaecological procedures eg: phlebotomy, vaginal examinations, colposcopy, hysteroscopy, MVA, pessary. Collaborate with the MDT to ensure the correct preparation of patients prior to their procedure. To be actively involved in each procedure i.e. setting up sterile trolley with all correct equipment for each specialised procedure To have a good understanding of performing asepsis and its appropriate use. Preparing appropriate paperwork and labels for specimens. Concise record keeping of specimens taken to laboratory.
