We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Trainee Project Manager to assist in overseeing construction projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset for problem-solving.

The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience working on live construction projects, assisting directors in planning, coordinating, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and coordinate all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
* Liaise with clients, operatives, subcontractors and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication for a smooth project progression.
* Monitor project progress and performance against established timelines and budgets, making adjustments as necessary.
* Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
* Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and any potential issues.
* Identify and resolve project-related issues under the guidance of the directors.
* Attend meetings, site inspections, and training sessions to enhance project management skills.
* Manage procurement processes for materials and equipment required for projects.
* Learn about industry regulations, building codes, and best practice.
Skills & Qualifications:
* A degree, diploma, or relevant qualification in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field (or working towards one).
* Interest in pursuing a career in construction project management.
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in planning and execution.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work well within a team.
* Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think critically under pressure.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to challenges.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word etc.) and construction-related software is a plus.
* A willingness to learn and develop within the role.
* Full UK driving licence.
Salary: £18,000 - £20,000 per annum (depending on experience).
