The Role As a Chartered Legal Executive in our Private Client department, you will take charge of managing a diverse and complex caseload with minimal supervision. Your key responsibilities include: Client Relationship Management: Providing clients with high-quality legal advice while proactively managing and nurturing client relationships. Performance and Mentorship: Meeting the firm’s fee targets and contributing to the team’s success by mentoring and developing junior colleagues. Time and Financial Management: Efficiently managing your time to meet targets and ensuring that cash flow, time recording, lock-up, profitability, and billing are effectively handled. Cost-Efficient Service Delivery: Delivering legal services in a manner that is both cost-effective for clients and beneficial for the firm, utilizing technology to enhance performance. Delegation and Team Contribution: Delegating casework appropriately within the team to maximize overall performance and contribution. Performance Reporting: Providing regular updates on key performance indicators to the team lead and assisting in implementing new systems and processes to improve efficiency. Client Value and Profitability: Identifying opportunities to add value to clients and improve profitability by anticipating needs, understanding requirements, and offering cross-referrals and additional services. Ensuring availability and accessibility to deliver exceptional client service, even outside regular hours. Reputation Building: Contributing significantly to the firm’s reputation for excellence, attracting new clients and referral sources through your professional standing. Marketing and Business Development: Leading marketing initiatives such as presenting at events, networking, seminars, and contributing to publications to enhance the firm’s visibility.
