Job Title: M&E Project Manager – Projects Division

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 (DOE)
Are you an experienced M&E Project Manager with a strong background in Mechanical and Electrical projects from design to installation?
Our client specialise in mechanical and electrical contracting with a focus on sustainable and renewable solutions, while emphasising consultancy and quality management. The company primarily works within the construction industry, serving diverse sectors such as commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
In this role, you will coordinate people and processes to ensure every project is delivered on time, within budget and scope. Your expertise in project management, financial oversight, and team leadership will be key to driving our continued success.
Key Responsibilities
Develop detailed project plans and ensure resource availability.
Deliver projects on time while meeting budgetary and scope requirements.
Identify project opportunities and proactively engage with clients to build strong relationships.
Drive financial growth by securing new projects and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
Procure, review, and manage subcontractors, ensuring their performance meets our standards.
Collaborate with the procurement team to manage budgets, approve payments, and monitor project profitability.
Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback to enhance productivity and morale.
Ensure adherence to all health and safety protocols and actively manage risks.
Produce forecast variations and track profit and loss on active projects.
Prepare comprehensive programs and progress reports to keep projects on track.
Lead multi-disciplinary project reviews, attend site surveys, and organise pre-start meetings.
Assist the Head of Projects and Directors by providing timely support and advice on project-related matters. Skills & Qualifications
Industry recognised Project Management course.
HNC/HND in Building Services Engineering.
City & Guilds in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Proven background in M&E Engineering and project management.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong financial management, budgeting, and analytical skills.
Experience in a paperless, tech-first working environment utilising innovative software such as SICON, Dropbox, BigChange, Matterport, Merlin Projects, (url removed), Microsoft Office 365, and Openspace.ai. Person Specification (Essential)
