This appointment is for a ST6+ Registrar in Colorectal Surgery at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. This post is offered for 12 months. The timetable will include working a Full shift/24-hour hybrid shift pattern to include weekends, night duty and cover provision on Acute and Elective Surgery.
The timetable is flexible and can be modified to reflect the special interests and expertise of the appointee.
The provisional work programme is to be confirmed. It will include 1:13 on-call cover.
Duties other than those clinical duties specified will be in accordance with the Job Plan agreed between the
Appointee, the present Consultants and the Chief Executive. The Job Plan allows time for Administration,
Teaching and Medical Audit.
Participation in audit/appraisal and CME is mandatory under clinical Governance and GMC guidance.
All employees may be required to work on any of the Trust’s sites and across a seven day period
