Nursery room leader/baby room manager

Staffing Connect is looking for a passionate and experienced Nursery Room Leader/Baby Room Manager to join a thriving nursery in Reading.

Hours: 42.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Qualification: Level 3 or higher in Early Years

Salary: £29,000 - £32,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the baby room team, ensuring compliance with the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework to promote childrens development.
* Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning through play.
* Maintain accurate records, including childrens learning journeys and developmental assessments.
* Build strong relationships with parents, providing regular updates and progress reports.
* Ensure the baby room adheres to Ofsted requirements and contributes to achieving high inspection ratings.
* Mentor and support staff, promoting professional development within the team.
