Role: Experienced Kitchen and Bedroom Designer
We are seeking an experienced and creative Kitchen/Bedroom Designer to join our UK team, based near Wetherby in West Yorkshire. The ideal candidate will be career-driven, commercially astute within the sector, and possess extensive knowledge of kitchen and bedroom design principles, building codes of practice, and regulations. Our company portfolio includes kitchens and bedrooms for student accommodation and Build-to-Rent (BTR) markets.
Role Overview
Your role will involve:
1. Generating technical drawings.
2. Ensuring the smooth execution of projects from initial consultation through to final installation.
You will need to manage a varied workload and have a can-do attitude. Our ideal candidate would demonstrate a creative drive and experience in using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, 2020 Fusion, or SWOOD.

Main Responsibilities
1. Creation of kitchen and bedroom design layouts.
2. Creation of production/manufacturing drawing packs.
3. Preparation of quotations.
4. Creating/assisting with pre- and post-tender meetings with clients.
5. Preparing design information for installation teams.
Skills and Experience
1. Experience in contract furniture (Student, Build-to-Rent, Housebuilder).
2. Previous experience producing detailed technical drawings.
3. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain design ideas and concepts to clients effectively.
4. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
6. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, 2020 Fusion, or SWOOD.
7. Knowledge of 20:20 Fusion or similar space planning software.
8. Excellent organisational and time management skills.
9. Ability to work under pressure and as part of an energetic team.
Ideal Candidate Profile
1. At least 5 years of contract kitchen/bedroom design experience.
2. Ideally, experience with SWOOD.
3. A team player who is career-minded, self-motivated, and commercially astute.
4. Degree educated (preferred).
5. Holds a full, clean driving licence.
Working Hours
Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
Periodic travel to UK live projects and our head office in Ireland.
