Application Support & Training Analyst

This post offers an exciting opportunity to join our Application Support Team within IM&T Services responsible for delivering Application Support, Training, and Testing for the Trust and associated healthcare organisations.

This post involves providing training support for users of the Electronic Patient Record (Cerner Millennium) and contributing to project support activities.
Main duties of the job
* Training delivery and support for identified staff on supported applications including Cerner Millennium (EPR).
* Teaches and trains end users using appropriate methods and materials.
* Supports administration processes including maintaining training records and dealing with course bookings.
* Assists in creating training materials for projects and new developments.
* Provides system training support for users logging requests via the Digital Service Desk.
* Supports project work in line with development to patient systems.
* Executes and reports testing of Training Environments.
Person specification
Educational Background
* GCSE ‘C’ grade or equivalent in English and Maths.
* Educated to ‘A’ Level standard or comparable experience.
* System Testing Qualification (e.g., BCS Software Testing Foundation).
* Recognised relevant training/teaching qualification.
* Previous experience of a Help Desk/User Support function.
* Experience of supporting IT system implementations.
* Delivery of adult training.
Technical Knowledge/IT Skills
* Knowledge of Application Systems.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office.
* Detailed knowledge of Cerner Millennium.
Communication & Relationship skills
* Good team skills.
* Ability to communicate effectively.
* Proven ability to instruct groups of varying ability.
