Quality Engineer Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to serve as the primary problem solver, driving proactive and reactive process improvements based on data from various sources. The role aims to support a strategic shift from product containment to process control, ensuring top-quality outcomes in all operations.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Act as the primary contact for customer-related quality issues and queries.
2. Complete 8D reports, including is-is not tables, Ishikawa diagrams, and 5-why analyses, focusing on reducing occurrence.
3. Lead daily material review-board meetings.
4. Review internal data for non-conforming products, customer line-returns, and audit non-conformances, championing data-driven improvements.
5. Employ statistical tools such as process capability, measurement systems analysis, and statistical process control to highlight risks and identify areas for continuous improvement.
6. Support NPI function by completing PFMEAs, control plans, and PPAP documents.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Quality Engineer within Manufacturing.
2. Experience and knowledge of IATF 16949 is preferred.
3. Experience with PFMEAs, PPAP, SPC, MSA, 8Ds and Control Plans.
Location: Burnley
Salary: £40k (dependent on experience)
Benefits: 31 days hols (inc BH), 4% pension, Health cash plan, fuel mileage for any business travel.
Permanent: 39 hours per week, 0745am-1700pm (Mon-Thurs), 0745am - 1300pm (Fri).
