Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Team Leader and Care and Support Workers to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing person-centered care and support to our residents, as well as leading and supervising a team of care and support workers.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience working in a care or support role, preferably with adults with learning disabilities
2. NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification
3. Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and support a team
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
5. A compassionate and patient nature
6. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
7. Must be eligible to work in the UK
Responsibilities:
1. Provide person-centered care and support to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met
2. Lead and supervise a team of care and support workers, providing guidance and support as needed
3. Create and maintain care plans for each resident, ensuring they are regularly reviewed and updated
4. Administer medication in accordance with policies and procedures
5. Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
6. Promote independence and encourage residents to participate in activities and hobbies
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports
8. Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals
9. Ensure the safety and well-being of all residents at all times
10. Adhere to all company policies and procedures
11. Attend training and development courses as required
12. Any other duties as assigned by the management team.
