Children's Home Manager
Location: Northampton
Salary: Up to GBP 55K per annum
Are you a passionate and experienced Children's Home Manager looking for an exciting opportunity? Do you have the skills and dedication to lead a team in providing exceptional care for children and young people? If so, we want to hear from you!
We are working with a highly respected provider of residential children's care, committed to making a real difference in young lives. We are looking for a strong, compassionate leader to manage our client's children's home in Northampton and ensure the highest standards of care and support.
The Role:
1. Oversee the daily operations of the home, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment.
2. Lead and inspire a dedicated team, promoting professional development and best practices.
3. Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and deliver high-quality, child-centred care.
4. Support and develop care plans to enhance the well-being and outcomes of the children in your care.
5. Build strong relationships with young people, families, and external professionals.
What We’re Looking For:
1. At least 2 years of experience in a role related to residential care of children.
2. At least 1 year in a supervisory role within the last 5 years.
3. A Level 3 qualification in Children's Care (or equivalent); Level 5 desirable or willingness to work towards it.
4. Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and a commitment to achieving Good or Outstanding ratings.
5. A passion for working with children and young people, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.
6. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
