Job summary This role will be key to supporting the co-ordination of the hub and base clinical rotas on a daily basis. Working closely with the Clinical Services Manager, you will have a clear line of sight to any potential impact on service right across the Practice, so that this can quickly be escalated and managed. The postholder will also ensure our rotas are planned for the weeks ahead, and that appointment books are set up in a timely way. Main duties of the job Coordinate on a daily basis, the hub and base rotas for clinical staff including GP, ANP and GPST using Bamboo rota system. Notifying relevant parties (site coordinators and office managers) of impacts to service across hub and bases. Approving leave on Bamboo and entering on to EMIS. To co-ordinate the provision of accurate, reliable, and timely staffing information to allow the creation and management of the hub and base rotas. Working closely with the Site Coordinators to ensure staffing is sustainable to provide a quality service for the organisation. Assist with the day to day operational coordination of staffing issues within the service. On notification of sickness absence, identify where there is a shortage of hub and base staff cover and identify effective solutions. Liaising with the Services Team to arrange locum cover where necessary. About us We are a large GP practice with a multi skilled clinical team that works over four sites.
