Supporting the Head of Hospitality, you will lead all aspects of event hospitality for this spectacular venue.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Support the Head of Hospitality in developing business strategies aligned with current and emerging client needs.
2. Lead, develop, manage, and motivate a high-performing team to ensure clients receive services of the highest quality.
3. Maximize the profitability of the conference and events department, known as Events at Ascot (EAA).
4. Deliver on client KPIs and SLAs to ensure exceptional standards of service.
5. Support the Ascot client in developing the Conference & Event client base, identifying opportunities for profit and growth.
6. Ensure that business deadlines and targets are met.
7. Lead the setup of all EAA events and client-funded areas in line with SOPs.
8. Undertake projects set by the Head of Hospitality and ensure timely completion.
9. Collaborate with all departments to share best practices across the site.
10. Work with the culinary team to ensure consistent, world-class food service.
11. Coordinate with the cellar team to ensure the right product mix and offerings.
12. Assist in creating SOPs that are practical and achievable.
13. Coordinate the training of casual management and staff with the Training Department.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
The candidate should be an experienced Hospitality Event Manager with a background in large venues and high-end prestigious events, possessing solid operational experience.
A passion for service excellence and the ability to build strong relationships within the business are essential.
You should have:
* At least three years’ operational experience in hospitality and event delivery.
* Understanding of logistics for event setup and breakdown.
* Experience managing Profit and Loss accounts.
* Management experience with diverse casual teams.
* Client liaison experience.
* Excellent communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
* Resilience and multitasking ability.
* Self-motivation and initiative.
* Ability to interpret financial and commercial data.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed.
* Personal licence holder.
