My client has an exciting opportunity for a head of maintenance to join a prestigious site near to Slough. The position will have circa 15 direct reports. Provide first class leadership and management to the engineering and FM admin team.
* To undertake reviews of all service delivery plans, ensuring that strategic delivery of the contract is maintained or amended, to ensure greater delivery of service * The Account Manager will have full P&L budgetary control, ensuring stringent financial management, whilst ensuring that all contract invoicing is transparent and providing value. * The role holder, will require swift and firm decision making, to ensure resolution to issues, whilst ensuring that the company meet their contract obligations. * Lead the delivery of Hard Services FM strategies and act as the central and strategic point of contact in terms of subject matter expertise in all technical aspects and Hard FM services. * Ensure all staff are able to successfully deliver by ensuring strong leadership and the implementation of development programmes that are aligned to meet contract requirements SLA's and thus minimise commercial and financial risk. * Develop good working relationships with all senior managers. * Drive Operational excellence across the portfolio and meet / exceed expectations on KPI / SLA performance. * Manage all PPM and reactive Hard Services related activities in critical environments to contract KPI's and performance measures, strategically managing the commercial client's property and monitoring standards.
Act as point of contact in terms of subject matter expertise in all technical aspects and Hard FM services arenas for critical and building environments. Manage critical engineering facilities with no loss and impact to customer facing services within an office and laboratory environment. Able to react in an ever changing business environment. Liaising with the FM team and key stakeholders, this individual shall be confident and articulate and can interface at all levels, both internally and externally of the business. Manage all PPMs for the engineers and also supervise all sub-contractors to ensure there is no disrupt to the clients services. Oversee critical management and maintenance
Criteria
Proven experience in a FM building services management role Diploma certificate or equivalent technical qualifications Previous supervisory experience BIFM/CIBSE qualified (preferred) Knowledge of BMS, PCS systems and their implementation as well as testing of their equipment. Thorough understanding of M&E and, in particular HVAC systems Good leadership skills Able to work well as part of a highly motivated team. Strong and effective communication skills. Excellent analytical skills to operational issues Good knowledge / experience of Microsoft office packages Have an understanding of health and safety Commercial awareness Ability to work on own initiative Planning and Organisational skills Flexible and willing approach to work Strong customer focus skills and attitude Good communicator - both Written and Orally Enthusiastic and Hardworking Good time management Working to tight deadlines Package Summary
