We have an exciting opportunity for you! Our client, a market leader in their field based on the outskirts of Eastbourne, is seeking finance interim support to join their team on a 4-month, ongoing basis. This role is crucial for providing interim value to the finance team, specifically within the Purchase Ledger function.
Job Title: Accounts Payable Assistant
Hourly Rate: £13ph – £14ph
Location: Eastbourne – Office-based
Duration: 4-month contract
Key Responsibilities:
* Invoice Processing: Efficiently process and manage supplier invoices, ensuring all entries are accurate and compliant with company policies.
* Reconciliations: Perform reconciliations of supplier statements, swiftly resolving any discrepancies or issues to maintain smooth operations.
* Payment Runs: Prepare and process payment runs, including BACS and cheque payments, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
* Record Maintenance: Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions, contributing to the overall financial integrity of the organisation.
Skills & Experience:
* Accounts Experience: Demonstrated experience in an accounts environment, particularly in processing high volumes of transactions.
* Systems Proficiency: Strong skills in accounting systems, with the ability to quickly adapt to new software and processes.
* Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of your work.
* Immediate Availability: Ability to start immediately or at very short notice, making you an ideal candidate for this interim role.
